At present, there are four kinds of Electromagnetic Active buzzers on the market:
Type 1: the split type adopts soft encapsulated start (bond start), and the price of this buzzer is relatively cheap (the market price is about 0.30 yuan, which is for reference only); This type of buzzer has unstable performance and is obviously affected by the environment,
Such as vibration during transportation, welding on the production line (this product cannot pass wave soldering or tin dipping), and use in an environment with too high temperature (60 degrees) or too low (- 20 degrees); And poor anti-interference, such as magnetic components (middle circumference, coil inductance, transformer, magnet, etc.) around,
All the above situations will affect the sound quality of the buzzer. If it is light, it will change the sanding sound or it will not sound when it sounds, and if it is heavy, it will not sound. This kind of buzzer is more suitable for low-end electronic and electrical products. This kind of buzzer is sold most in major electronic cities.
The second type: the split type adopts hard envelope startup (combined tube startup), and the price of this buzzer is moderate (the market price is about 0.45 yuan, which is for reference only); This buzzer has better stability than the first one. This buzzer is more suitable for middle-end electronic and electrical products.
The third type: the all-in-one type adopts hard encapsulated single tube startup (one combined tube startup). The price of this buzzer is medium to high (the market price is about 0.65-1.00 yuan, which is for reference only). This buzzer has good adaptability to the environment and can pass wave soldering and tin dipping, but its anti-interference performance is not ideal.
Type 4: the all-in-one type is started with hard encapsulated double tubes (two combined tubes). The price of this type of buzzer is relatively high (the market price is about 1.00-2.00 yuan, which is only for reference). This type of buzzer is usually produced with high temperature resistant plastic shell, anti-interference coil and magnetic ring,
The buzzer has good adaptability to the environment and low defect rate. It is suitable for medium and high-end electronic and electrical products. This is the buzzer product mainly produced and promoted by our company.
The above four buzzers usually have the following adverse conditions during use:
1 type: it doesn't sound before installation, which is due to the poor quality of the buzzer itself (in this case, the first type of buzzer is more likely to occur)
Two kinds: no sound or no sound after welding. This situation may be due to excessive power of the soldering iron used in the welding process (it is recommended to use 20-30w soldering iron) or too long time (it is recommended to complete a welding spot within 3 seconds), resulting in false welding after heating and melting of the welding point between the buzzer pin and the coil.
3 types: after welding, the buzzer makes a low sound, no sound or sanding tone change during the beeping process. This situation may be that the current for starting the buzzer is too small or too large (the normal working current of the buzzer is 20-30ma), resulting in the failure of the buzzer to sound normally.
4 types: the buzzer changes sound or has no sound after being used for a period of time. This situation may be that the continuous sound time of the buzzer is too long (the continuous sound time of the buzzer shall not exceed 8-10 hours, otherwise it will change sound or burn out) or the buzzer is affected by the environment.
5. When the buzzer works on the wire board after welding, it changes tone or has no sound, but there is no problem when it is removed and tested with DC regulated power supply. This situation may be that the buzzer is disturbed.
The above five situations are the most common faults during the use of the buzzer, and other fault situations will not be described here.
When purchasing buzzer, you can't just look at the price and ignore the characteristics of your own circuit. The buzzer should be selected according to the design characteristics of the circuit of their own electronic products, so as to effectively avoid the adverse phenomena of the above five situations.
